Katie qualified as a Solicitor in 2020 having commenced her traineeship with the firm in 2018. She was appointed Partner in 2026. Katie specialises in Commercial & Company Law and has extensive experience in advising a diverse mix of companies, commercial borrowers and lenders, property developers, state bodies and charitable orders.

Notable transactions Katie has advised on include:

1. The successful sale of Waterford Regional Airport;
2. The acquisition, financing and leasing of several high value commercial property portfolios both locally and nationally;
3. The acquisition, financing and development of several green sites for residential property developers both locally and nationally;
4. Securities in relation to both private equity houses and pillar banks including full debt restructuring;
5. The sale of established dentistry practices, medical practices and financial brokerages.

Katie holds both a LLB (Hons) Law degree and an MBA in Corporate Governance. She is also an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. 

Outside of work, Katie enjoys all things musical and plays the piano and traditional Irish fiddle. She also enjoys travelling as often as possible and is an avid reader.
